Dear Morgan Families,
I hope this message finds you well as we continue moving forward into the second semester of the school year.
I would like to remind families that there will be no school on Monday, January 19, 2026, as we observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday.
As we begin the second semester, I want to emphasize the importance of punctuality. Our new tardy system is now fully in place. Students who arrive late to class will receive consequences on the same day. Once a student reaches five tardies, they will be assigned lunch detention. If a student does not serve their assigned lunch detention, additional consequences for non-compliance will be issued. We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing the importance of arriving to school and class on time.
The second semester is a critical time for growth. Our teachers use what they learned about each student during the first semester to intentionally plan supports and strategies to help every student succeed in every class. This is when targeted support, progress monitoring, and enrichment truly take shape.
We strongly encourage all students to develop strong study habits and to take advantage of tutoring opportunities when they need extra support. Asking for help and putting in the effort are key components of academic success, and our staff is here to support every student along the way.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can ensure a strong and successful second semester for all Morgan Mustangs.
Go Mustangs!
