Dear Mustang Families,

We’re excited to kick off Homecoming Week here at Aquilla J. Morgan High School. Our students have been working hard to plan a week full of fun, school spirit, and celebration. We encourage you to talk with your student about the upcoming festivities and support them in participating—it’s a wonderful opportunity to build community and create lasting memories.

In addition to Homecoming, this week also marks the beginning of Quarter 2. As we move into the second part of the semester, we want to remind our students to start strong, stay focused, and continue striving for academic excellence. Your encouragement and support at home make a tremendous difference in helping them stay motivated and successful.

Thank you for being such an important part of the Morgan High family. We look forward to a great week ahead!

Red Cross Club

The Red Cross Club will be having our first meeting Thursday, October 16th in the auditorium during 5th period. The meetings will be on the 3rd Thursday of every month and open to members who have already signed up.

Join Morgan’s First-Ever Brain Bowl Team!

We’re excited to announce the formation of Aquilla J. Morgan High School’s inaugural team for the HABSE 10th Annual Black History Brain Bowl! This is a powerful opportunity for students to dive deep into African, local, and national Black history while building leadership and teamwork skills.

Participants will have the chance to compete for prizes, collaborate with peers, and proudly represent Morgan on a regional stage. Team members must be committed to studying independently and attending practices both in person and via Zoom.

Every Friday during lunch, students enjoy Turf Games—an opportunity to relax, have fun, and just be kids. These moments of joy are a big part of what makes Morgan special.
