Dear Morgan Families,
We have so much to celebrate across all of our athletic programs at Aquilla J. Morgan High School. Our students continue to show what it means to compete with purpose, represent our school with pride, and build a culture of excellence together. This week, we are highlighting just two of the many stories that showcase the strength of our Mustang community.
Our Girls Wrestling team made history by earning first place at the Hillsborough County Wrestling Championship—the first championship in both program and school history. With outstanding performances from Naomi Luna, Dalila Amar, Izzy Costa, Athena Galicia, and Jada Williams, this team has demonstrated resilience, discipline, and a level of teamwork that reflects who we are as a school.
We also recognize our Morgan Cheer team, who wrapped up an impressive season by competing at UCA Nationals. Their dedication, preparation, and leadership throughout the year were evident on the national stage, and their work continues to elevate the spirit and pride of our entire community.
As we continue to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, we invite our families and coaches to share highlights, achievements, and moments of pride from any of our teams or programs. Your submissions help us recognize the incredible work happening across Morgan and allow us to feature more stories each week in our newsletter.
Built to lead, born to win!
