A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL & ASST PRINCIPAL

.

Dear Pride Families,

We’ve had a smooth return to school and are settling back into routines- and winter weather has finally arrived! Please remember to write your child’s name inside jackets and sweatshirts so they can be easily returned if left around campus. If your child is missing a jacket or sweatshirt, encourage them to check the Lost and Found—we have MANY items waiting to go home!

We’re excited to see families at upcoming events:

Spelling Bee 🐝– January 21

SLAM Showcase & PTA General Assembly Meeting – January 29

Keep your calendars updated- there are lots of fun events planned in the coming months, and we hope to see you there! 🦁

Yo-ho-ho and onward we go!

WE NEED YOUR INPUT!

PLEASE COMPLETE THIS SURVEY NOW!

http://surveys.panoramaed.com/hcps/fam3441

Dear Pride Families,

Our district values feedback! We are currently surveying Pride Elementary families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our students and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback.

To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education. All responses to the survey will be completely confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district stronger.

As of Friday, only 1% of our families have completed the survey—that’s just seven responses! Your feedback is critical to ensuring Pride remains the premier school in our area. Please take a few minutes to share your voice today and complete the survey before January 23rd. Together, we can keep Pride at the top!

You may complete the survey using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by visiting the website http://surveys.panoramaed.com/hcps/fam3441

We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or our survey coordinator, Mrs. Dodds, at Laura.DoddsGromkov@hcps.net.

Thank you,

Kirsten Meyer

JUMP IN TO HEART HEALTH

Our Pride Lions are on the move!

We’re halfway through our Kids Heart Challenge and have already reached 26% of our goal! If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time- donations are due by January 30th. I’ve set a Principal’s Challenge: if 500 students donate, Pride will earn $500 in PE equipment! Join us in making a difference and become a lifesaver. Help our school while supporting kids everywhere with special hearts!

Let’s do this, Pride family! 🦁❤️

We need volunteers to help in the cafeteria during lunch on a daily basis between 10:00 and 1:30. Ideally, we would like to have recurring volunteers, but any time you can help would be greatly appreciated! The role involves monitoring student behavior, assisting students with opening food items, escorting students to the bathroom or health clinic, helping with spills, etc...
