Hello Pride Families!
I can hardly believe it, but we’ve officially wrapped up the first quarter as of this Friday! It’s been an incredible start to the school year, and I’m so proud of the growth and progress our students have already made.
As we step into the second quarter, our students are now well-versed in expectations and routines, setting the stage for even greater focus on their goals and continued success. This is a great time to encourage your child to reflect on their achievements so far and set new goals for the months ahead.
October is also shaping up to be a Spook-tacular month! We have a variety of fun and engaging activities planned across campus, so be sure to check out the important events section to stay in the loop.
5th Grade Families – Don’t Forget!
This is a friendly reminder to purchase your child’s 5th Grade Class Shirt! These shirts are a special part of celebrating their final year in elementary school and will be worn for various events and activities throughout the year. You can find all the details and ordering information right after this message.
Conference Night – Thursday, October 16th
Our Fall Conference Night is coming up this Thursday, October 16th. If you have not yet had a conference with your child’s teacher or do not have one scheduled for Thursday evening, please reach out to your child’s teacher as soon as possible to set one up. We value this time to connect and collaborate in support of your child’s success.
National School Lunch Week – October 13–17
We’re excited to celebrate National School Lunch Week with a special International Menu all week long! Our cafeteria team has put together a delicious lineup of global flavors for students to enjoy. Be sure to check out the menu below in the newsletter so your child doesn’t miss out on their favorite dishes!
Picture Day – Friday, October 17th
Say cheese! Picture Day is this Friday, October 17th. Students may wear an outfit of their choice for their photo. Please be mindful that all attire must still follow the district dress code policy. We can’t wait to see those bright smiles!

We need volunteers to help in the cafeteria during lunch on a daily basis between 10:00 and 1:30. Ideally, we would like to have recurring volunteers, but any time you can help would be greatly appreciated! The role involves monitoring student behavior, assisting students with opening food items, escorting students to the bathroom or health clinic, helping with spills, etc...
