Hello Pride Families!

What a fantastic week of learning and celebration we've had! Cooler temperatures finally arrived, bringing a refreshing change to our days—and just in time for some fall fun. Our students enjoyed exploring new books at the Scholastic Book Fair, and we wrapped up the week with an unforgettable Friday Night Trunk or Treat!

A huge shout-out to our AMAZING PTA for organizing such a spook-tacular event! Thank you to all the families who donated candy, decorated their cars, and helped create a magical evening. From the petting zoo, hay and pumpkin-themed photo ops, to the pizza, popcorn, snocones, and Book Fair shopping—there was something for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, it was a wonderful time for our community to come together and celebrate.

Looking ahead, we have another busy week:

  • Report Cards will be available through FOCUS on October 27th.

  • Terrific Lions will be recognized on October 29th.

  • Our Annual Pride Prowl Parade takes place on October 31st—check below for details on how families can view the parade.

As the weather continues to cool (finally!), please remember to label your child’s jackets, sweaters, and hoodies. This helps us return misplaced items quickly and keeps our Lost and Found from overflowing.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead!

Yo-ho-ho and onward we go!
Mrs. Meyer and Mrs. Moncrief

REPORT CARDS AVAILABLE ONLINE OCT 27TH

Report Cards will be available online through your student's portal on October 27th. Reports Cards will be accessed through the Focus Portal. If you have not yet set up your account, now is the time! See information below on how to set up and access a Parent Account. The District has also created a new resource for families that will be available in the Focus portal titled the Parent Guide to Elementary Report Cards. This guide outlines our district's grading philosophy, best practices, and considerations for English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities. It also includes information on Grade 3 Promotion Guidelines. It is our hope that this resource will help you better understand your child's progress and how grades reflect your student's learning. You many also access the guide by clicking on this link:
