Dear Pride Families,
It has certainly been another wild week of weather, but we’re hopeful for calmer skies ahead this week! If you are missing a jacket, sweatshirt, or other cold‑weather item, please remind your child to stop by our Lost and Found. Any unclaimed items remaining from January will be donated at the end of this week.
Please be sure to mark your calendars for two upcoming events:
Kindness Week: February 16–20, as we celebrate and promote kindness throughout our campus.
Publix Family Math Night: Thursday, February 20, a fun evening for families to learn and explore math together.
Conference Night is this Thursday from 3:00–8:00 PM. If you have not yet scheduled a time to meet with your child’s teacher, please reach out to them directly to make an appointment. These conferences are an important part of our home–school partnership.
We also need your help with morning drop‑off safety. Recently, we have seen an increase in cars stopping traffic on Kinnan Street and Bassett Creek Drive to drop off students. This creates a serious safety concern for both students and drivers. Please do not stop traffic to drop off your child. Families should use the car line or park in the grass lot and walk students across. Student safety must always come first—thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
Let’s have another great week, Lions! 🦁
Yo-ho-ho and onward we go!
