A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL & ASST PRINCIPAL |
Dear Pride Families,
We are so incredibly proud of our Pride scholars! Our teachers, Mrs. Moncrief, and I were blown away by how hard students worked this week on their i‑Ready Math Diagnostic- and the growth has been impressive! We can’t wait to see that same focus and determination as students take their i‑Ready Reading Diagnostic this week. Parents, thank you for helping us by getting our scholars to school bright and early so they are rested, ready, and set up to do their very best.
A huge shout‑out to Mrs. White and Mrs. Tkacik for an AMAZING Around the World Night! Pride’s cafeteria was transformed into an international extravaganza for the senses. One thing was for sure- no one left hungry! Thank you so much to all of the parents and teachers who shared food and information from their country of origin. These experiences truly reflect what makes Pride such a special place.
Lastly, you may have noticed that construction at the Recreation Center next door continues to move right along. While much of the exterior fencing has been removed, please remember that this is still an active construction site and is not open. We kindly ask that families refrain from parking in the Recreation Center parking lot at any time of day. The grass lot across from the Recreation Center remains available for use, as it has all year. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support!
Yo-ho-ho and onward we go!
Mrs. Meyer and Mrs. Moncrief

PTA EXECTUTIVE BOARD NOMINATIONS
|
🌟 Want to Make a Difference at Pride? Join Our PTA Executive Board! 🌟
Are you looking for a meaningful way to get involved at Pride Elementary and help shape our school community? The Pride Elementary PTA is now accepting nominations for the 2026–2027 Executive Board, and we’d love to see you (or someone you know!) step into a leadership role!
PTA board members play an important role in supporting our students, staff, and school events-and no prior experience is required, just a willingness to help and collaborate. Positions include President, Vice President (1 & 2), Treasurer, and Recording Secretary. If serving on the board isn’t the right fit, there are also many committee opportunities to get involved behind the scenes.
If you’re interested (or would like to nominate someone with their permission), please complete the PTA Nominating Form and return it by Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Forms may be emailed or dropped off at the front office. Let’s work together to continue making Pride an amazing place for our students and families! 💙🦁

We need volunteers to help in the cafeteria during lunch on a daily basis between 10:00 and 1:30. Ideally, we would like to have recurring volunteers, but any time you can help would be greatly appreciated! The role involves monitoring student behavior, assisting students with opening food items, escorting students to the bathroom or health clinic, helping with spills, etc...
