This week, we are proud to shine a spotlight on three extraordinary individuals whose dedication, passion, and impact have earned them well-deserved recognition:

Helen Berger, our amazing 4th Grade Teacher, has been named Teacher of the Year! Helen’s classroom radiates creativity, care, and academic excellence. Her ability to connect with students and foster a love of learning makes her a true leader and role model. Congratulations, Helen!
Jessica White, our passionate ELL Resource Teacher, has been selected as the Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year. Jessica’s commitment to equity and inclusion enriches our school culture and ensures every student feels seen, heard, and valued. We are so proud of her transformative work!
Blasina Burgos, our devoted ESE Paraprofessional, has been honored as the Instructional Support Employee of the Year! Blasina’s compassion and tireless support help create a safe and nurturing environment for our students. Her dedication behind the scenes is the heartbeat of our success.

These outstanding educators exemplify the excellence, heart, and commitment that make our school a special place to learn and grow. Please join us in celebrating their achievements and thanking them for all they do!

We also wrapped up our Buddy-a-Thon fundraiser with a joyful and memorable Stuffing Buddies event! Students and staff came together to create cuddly companions, share laughter, and celebrate the culmination of our fundraising efforts. It was a heartwarming way to end a successful campaign and highlight the power of community and kindness.

Lunchroom Helpers

We need volunteers to help in the cafeteria during lunch on a daily basis between 10:00 and 1:30. Ideally, we would like to have recurring volunteers, but any time you can help would be greatly appreciated! The role involves monitoring student behavior, assisting students with opening food items, escorting students to the bathroom or health clinic, helping with spills, etc...
